Harrison Kane is originally from West Lafayette, Indiana. He attended the film studies program at USC, graduating in 1987. He got his start in the late 80's independent film scene by bringing a sci-fi flavor to independent film.

 

After a few low budget films that were highly praised on the film festival circuit and garnered small art house releases he had a breakthrough with Rogue Badge (1993), the monster hit of that summer grossing over $120 million. It launched Harrison Kane onto the A-list and made its leading man, Sean Slater, a top box office attraction. Since then, Kane has made five more films, with three more breaking the 100 million mark. His most recent was Bones of the Dead (2007).
